June 1st has officially launched our line of mineral make up. I'm very excited about the opportunity to offer this business to women looking for a make up/beauty business who don't want high quotas or minimums. And for women who just want to join us and order theirs at wholesale prices.

It's a new month and you may be making new goals or wondering why you haven't reached your old goals.

Ok, so first of all, you have to ask yourself WHAT are you willing to do to reach these goals?
Are you willing to work a few hours a day for the next few years on growing your business? You joined a network marketing company.......Take the time to get out there and network!

Have you made your list of contacts? Does anyone come into your home or to your front door who DOESN'T know about the opportunity of our business?
Sure, we sell fabulous candles. I burn them daily and love them. I use the soap bars and love them. I use the hand wash, the melts, the car fresheners......but I don't just consider myself in the candle business. If someone asks me what I do for a living , I never say " I sell candles".......you see, selling candles can make you great pocket money. Or more.But it may not change your lifestyle. And if you joined for pocket money, and that's all you want, then that is A-OK! Keep retailing and enjoying it.

But if you joined to change your lifestyle , then read on....

When asked what I do for a living, I say (with a huge grin) I am in the Opportunity business. Or "I'm an internet marketer with a fabulous company.....our main product line is alternative candles.....do you know anyone looking for a low cost home business?"

Residual income Can and DOES change lifestyles. You only need to look at the leaders at the top of their companies. But you don't need to go to the very top position to have serious life changing income.
You do need to ask yourself what you are willing to do to achieve this? Yes, I repeated it because it is an area even I stumble with.
it is so much easier for all of us to sit back and hope our teams grow, hope the phone rings, the e-mails come. To drive past the 10,000 square foot homes and say " I wish I could have that", to look at top leaders and say "wow"..well, how about saying " THAT is what I want, and THIS is what I will do to achieve it"

Sure it's hard somedays, but you have to at least TRY it on other days. Hand out your business cards, free samples(who doesn't want a free sample anyway?) and do it all with a smile. Why not? Just announced!
My gourmet candle company will launch a new line of high quality make up, all natural based products, minerals and more, in May.

While make up was not my first choice of a product line, I have to embrace this change and look at it as opportunity. If I owned a small store that sold vitamins and was told I can now carry pet products, why would I say no? It would bring in a whole new clientle of pet owners , it would make me more money, more friends , more growth and inevitably some of those pet owners would also take a look at my vitamins.

So, really, it's a win-win in my eyes.

About the make-up line:
It will consist of natural based products withs soy proteins ,vitamin E, natural oils,etc

I'm also so proud to say that ALL make up is made in the U.S.A , FDA regulated and has No animal products or testing. can't tell you how happy I am NOT to see "made in China" labels.

It's a BEAUTIFUL way to start our summer season. It opens the door for women who are looking for a beauty home business to join us. Sure,there are alot of beauty businesses out there, but many are party plans and that is not always convenient or wanted by many.Others have high monthly commitments.
We will still will offer wholesale pricing to distributors so even for personal purchases, you can get department store quality make up at wholesale prices.

Not a day goes by when I don't hear of a close friend, neighbor ,relative or aquaintance complaining about lay offs,fear of being layed off or losing their home or business, not being able to afford bills or just the lack of money to live "a good life"
It makes me think.

The only place I hear of consistent growth is home business. It allows freedom. it brings income in. It can be worked when you choose.


I know in 2 years, 5 years, 10 years and more, that my income will only continue to grow. I will have my main candle business, but also have enjoy life to the fullest.

I know this will be a best seller. Our pomegranate scent is amazing and our Japanase Pear is awesome so this is going to be a much anticipated scent. It's so nice to have 12 new scents a year...every month when I get my candle of the month, it's like Christmas! Even my kids get excited to smell it.

And.....drumroll please........On March 1st we will unveil a new line of products. This company just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to share what they are( I dont even know yet). Stay tuned!

Persistence- Your most valuable asset for success

As one of my mentors told me once, success partially depends on staying with something long enough to reach your goals.

How many of us have new members who join and then quit after a month, 2 months, 6 months? Even a year.

They don't give themselves enough time to build a business..to set and work toward their goals, let alone reach them.

Most of them want a get-rich-overnight business. There is no such thing! Network marketing/MLM has been called a get-rich-slow business.

Team building is not always easy and not always even attained in the first half year or even year. Some of our leaders have said they worked extremely hard for the first 2-4 years in our business, now they work "extemely easy". lol

Setting both short term goals.daily.weekly..monthly ..as well as long term goals is the BEST way to help maintain your focus. Work on yourself as much as you work on your business! Confidence and motivation are so important. Belief in yourself is a key to success. Jim Rohn says:"Unless you change how you are,you will always have what you've got".

So what's it really all about?

Working from home is not for everybody.Thankfully!! lol.

There are many people who really "need" a boss and need the regimented ways of working for someone. Being told how and when to do things. Being told when they can take a vacation. And for how long. But if they're happy, more power to them.
I, for one, are certifiably UNemployable.

For most of my life, I have loathed being told how and when to do things. I am definately more of a free spirit type. But free spirits are not only creative, they can be very determined and driven by personal passion.
What drives me? The very thing that pulls so many people into network marketing.
One simple word:
FREEDOM.

Yes it's the money and the potential to earn limitless residual income.
Yes, it's the satisfaction of helping others get their businesses up and running and successful. Answering questions and inspiring other go-getters to reach their potential.
But mostly, it's the freedom.

Freedom to work when, how and where I want. My hours, my days, in pj's if I please.(and I do emphasize the word "work" too. Home business is work and if someone is looking for a ticket to instant wealth, well, this is NOT it.)

Freedom to vacation when I want. To be here each and every day for my children(time in their lives that can't ever be made up)

Freedom to commute to my computer. To profit from my patio. To make calls from my couch.

And pride in knowing that not only am I working for myself, I am part of a large team....people "above" me, people "below' me and people on other teams. People who bond through friendship and support for each other. But one thing really brings us all togther and that is our love for helping others, sharing our knowledge and living our "free-spirited" ways while achieving and enjoying the FREEDOM we all deserve in this life.

So tell me, do YOU want that freedom? Does the 9-5 or 7-7 really get to you? Do you want a better life, for you and your family? Do you feel the crunch of the economy but just can't get ahead? Do you regret the times you're missing having the fun you crave while the years fly by?

2009. Wow. It's almost here. Nine........fine, shine,mine! Let's make the decision to make it a year to shine.

Let's take all those troublesome thoughts of the economy, the unemployment, the uncertainty of JOBS, any worries and concerns and toss them out! Literally let go of any emotion that is not serving you to be your best.

And then focus on what does bring you joy and fulfillment.

And how this ties in with a home candle business is perfect! Home business brings freedom. It brings financial independence and personal satisfaction. It allows us to spend more time with the people we truly enjoy sharing life with and create all those special moments and memories NOW. There is no time like now. Your baby, or 7 year old, or 12 year old needs you NOW more than ever. You can't buy this time back.

Think about it . I'm making my new goal list this week and one of the main things will be to work smarter not harder.

As Albert Einstein said:
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

So 2009 is a GREAT time to throw out what doesn't work and implement some new and fun methods that will grow your business and change your future. Think about what you CAN do to help others, to create VALUE,to motivate and assist others in reaching their dreams to be successful. I am reading "You'll see it when you believe it" By Dr. Wayne Dyer.
Awesome book of course

He talks about being willing as one of the priciples of effective visualization.

What does that mean?

Basically, you can visualize all you want and have drive and perseverance but , he says, to make a visualization a reality you must be willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Gosh, this book is so good!! Makes you really change your whole attitude on life.
If you are looking into learning how to tap into the power you have to create your own destiny, I definately recommend it.

So how can a candle business change your destiny?
It's changing mine as we speak.
In a shaky economy, uncertainty of what the future will hold financially and as a single mom, I could not imagine NOT working from home. I am WILLING to create a successful business , mostly online and reach my goals at a steady and fulfilling pace.
For under $50 a month, it's certainly the BEST deal in town. The cost of a cup of coffee a day and anyone, from any walk of life can have success in network marketing if they are WILLING to create their dreams, grow themselves and treat it as a serious business. And then that in turn, creates a more joyful life full of FREEDOM! And isn't that really what we all want?

My new boots ripped today. I had to return them and as I stood at the customer service counter, I turned them over and sure enough "Made in China" was right there! Now, I won't say that everything made in China is cheaply made or bad, however it has been my experience with all too many items failing, breaking, ripping, falling apart or just disintegrating (ok, I made that one up!) but the rest are true.

My 6 year old daughter even notices it. "Why is everything made in China?" she asked when she saw the tag on her Halloween costume. "They must have alot of makers over there", she mused. Funny and precious observation from innocent eyes.

But honestly, with all the recalls, I am a bit wary and try to look for toys, clothes and home goods made somewhere (anywhere!) else.

Being this is the Bella Blog, of course it must tie in with my fabulous gourmet candle company which happens to be in beautiful state of Pennsylvania. The candles are proudly made in the U.S.A.
How nice it is to be associated with them. Not only are they fabulous people to know and do business with , but they have the same concerns for our country and our economy as I do. Their children live here and will take over this company one day.

Wouldn't you feel proud too, to be changing your future , offering an American made product and joining a company that feels like family. I know I am.
